Licensing Agreement

About This Agreement

This Licensing Agreement is between you and Bookshaper LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Throughout this document, “Bookshaper”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that entity, which is the licensor of the Bookshaper service.

License Grant

A Bookshaper Pro subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Bookshaper service for the duration of your active subscription.

Entitlements

A Bookshaper Pro subscription includes:

  • Full access to all AI analysis engines.
  • Unlimited projects.
  • Unlimited manuscript imports.
  • Unlimited AI analysis runs.
  • Access to all metadata graphs (character, world, pacing, theme, emotional, resonance).
  • Access to all available export formats.
  • Priority support.
  • Access to onboarding and tutorial content.
  • Access to future non-AI features at no additional cost.

Usage Limits

There are no usage limits on projects, imports, or analysis runs for active subscribers. Users without an active subscription (expired or post-trial) may log in and view existing projects but cannot run AI analysis, create new projects, access metadata graphs, or export manuscripts.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Bookshaper service.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Attempt to circumvent license enforcement mechanisms.
  • Use automated systems to access the service beyond normal usage.

AI Disclaimers

Bookshaper uses AI for narrative analysis and select generation features (back-cover blurbs, cover concepts). AI analysis is deterministic and audit-friendly. We do not authorize AI providers to train on your manuscripts, and we configure available no-retention controls on every request; because analysis runs on third-party AI platforms, this protection relies on each provider honoring its default API terms. You retain full creative control over your work at all times.

While Bookshaper strives for accuracy in its analysis, AI-generated insights are provided as professional tools to support your creative process and should not be considered a substitute for professional editing or publishing advice.

Termination

This license terminates when your subscription ends, whether through cancellation, expiration, or revocation. Upon termination, your right to use AI analysis, metadata graphs, and export features ceases. You may continue to log in and view existing projects.

Bookshaper reserves the right to revoke access in cases of Terms of Service violations, fraud, or abuse.
