The macOS and Windows builds are code-signed, and macOS is Apple-notarized — your operating system verifies Bookshaper on first open.

Installation

macOS

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag Bookshaper to your Applications folder.
  3. Open Bookshaper from Applications. On first launch, right-click and select Open if prompted by Gatekeeper.

Windows

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. Follow the installation wizard.
  3. Launch Bookshaper from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Linux

  1. Make the AppImage executable: chmod +x Bookshaper_amd64.AppImage
  2. Run it: ./Bookshaper_amd64.AppImage
  3. Optionally, use AppImageLauncher to integrate with your desktop.
